Rich Dad Poor Dad – Short Book Review

Rating: 4.5/5 stars

Title: Rich Dad Poor Dad

Author: Robert T. Kiyosaki

Editor/Co-author: Sharon Lechter

Year of Publication:  2000

This book is really hard to review.  Basically, this book talks about financial intelligence. It is the story of the upbringing of the author, Robert Kiyosaki in Hawaii. As he says in the book, he has “two fathers”. Throughout the book he passes on the knowledge that each one of them gave him.

Generally the book was great. It explored ideas about how you should live your life. Live your life in a way that would not be necessarily restricting by debt or an 8 hour job.

I would recommend this book to anyone really, because it is important for people to know how to manage money. Overall, it is an easy read. I read it in one sitting. It is not terribly long and it is definitely not boring, since it explores some very interesting and useful ideas.
