The Bane Chronicles (#1, #2) – Book Review

Rating: 3/5 stars

Author: Cassandra Clare

Book titles: What really happened in Peru, The Runaway Queen

The Bane Chronicles is a series of short stories, that follow Magnus Bane, the High Warlock of Brooklyn in his countless adventures. In the first two books we see his journeys through Peru and France. Personally, I was never in love with Magnus as a character and therefore I am not that interested in reading a whole series about him. Nevertheless, I love Cassandra’s Clare’s writing, so I have read quite a few books in this series. The books in this series are quite enjoyable and easy to read, but that is about where my interest in them ends. I would recommend this series as an easy to read book when you just don’t want to read a big book.
