Wizard’s First Rule (1) – Book Review

Rating: 5/5 stars

Title: Wizard’s First Rule

Author: Terry Goodkind

The Sword of Truth Series

The first book in a too-many-books-to keep-track of series by Terry Goodkind. This book is epic fantasy, so the world and the characters have all kinds of abilities. Richard, the male lead grows up in the Westlands, when Kahlan a confessor from the Midlands comes to seek help. Darken Rahl, the villain in this book is trying to take over the Midlands and the Westlands. If he succeeds he will be the ruler of D’Hara, the Midlands and Westland and the world will forever be changed.

This book is very well-written and can definitely be considered a page turner. It is a great start to this book series and epic-fantasy lovers should definitely give it a try. The world is so amazing to read about and more importantly the way magic works in this world is so awesome. The characters are strong and appealing, and can definitely be considered relatable. This book is a great start to a wonderful book series.
