Witch Hunter – Book Review

Rating: 5/5 stars

Title: Witch Hunter

Author: Virginia Boecker

Plot: Elizabeth is one of the best witch hunters in Anglia, but her whole life turns around when she is accused of being a witch herself.

The whole premise of the plot for this book is amazing. The story itself flows so well, and although there aren’t many plot twists, this is one of the books you can’t figure the ending of, from the first few chapters.

More importantly, what makes the story so great is its characters.

Characters: All of the characters in this book are awesome. Some of them you immediately fall in love with (like John, who is my favourite character) and others surprise you (for better or for worse)

Elizabeth, the main character, is a mixture of intelligence and intuition, which just makes her an awesome character. She is very relatable and the struggle she goes through, trying to understand that what she has been taught all her life, might not actually be true.

Overall: Witch Hunter was not an extremely fast paced book, but it was a very quick read. All the events and the characters took their time in the book and that is what made it all so much more believable.

Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a fantasy book. I can’t wait to read more books set in this world.
